Every Child Deserves To Learn The Art Of Dance

Branches of Dance Crafts Shows

Every November we will host our Holiday Craft show, and every May will host our Spring Craft show. The proceeds from both of these events will go towards our production of The Nutcracker. Along with great crafts we have, vendors, raffles, bake sale, music, and The Nutcracker Story time. Each crafter will need to complete and return our craft show application form.

Family Fun Nights

At Branches of Dance we enjoy hosting family fun nights. Family fun night is an evening where all our dance families get together and have a great time! We watch movies, play games, do activities, and build lifelong friendships. The studio provides all the snacks and activities as a thank you for being a part of our studio.

Our students prepare all year for our end of year dance recital. Students perform for family and friends to show how hard they have worked all year. Our dance recital is held the first weekend in June at the Schuylkill Valley high School.

Gala Party

After the recital all students and families are invited to purchase a ticket for our Gala Tickets must be purchased in advance. This event is semi-formal every other year. There will be a catered dinner, DJ, dancing (of course!), and a keepsake gift for coming. The Gala ticket fund will go towards funding our holiday shows.

Our competition team performs at 3 competitions each year. We encourage the entire studio to come along and support our competition team during their performances. For more information on our competition team visit the Performance Opportunities, Competition Team section of our website.

Guest Instructor Workshops

Every autumn & spring we bring NYC and Philadelphia to us! We host Guest instructor workshop with professional dancers, choreographers, actors, singers, and more. We offer a night filled with fun classes with these amazing professionals. We don’t want our families to have to travel for special class opportunities, so we bring them to us! Our workshops are always OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. We believe every dancer should have access to these wonderful classes.

National Dance Day

He last Saturday of July we celebrate NATIONAL DANCE DAY. We offer FREE classes all day long! We have great prizes donated from local businesses, cotton candy machines, pop-corn machines, games, face painting and more. We love celebrating National Dance Day! Won’t you come dance with us?

Picture day

Every spring we have Folk’s Foto’s a professional photographer come to the studio and take pictures of all of our students in their costumes. Students are given a scheduled time to arrive with their costumes, hair and makeup completed. The instructors will give students a pose with their class and by themselves. Purchasing pictures is optional. But we ask all families to attend , so each student is in our dance yearbook.
